Our 1969 Rallysport Pro Touring Camaro started life as a Z-28 (of course - it could never have been a less collectible car about to be tubbed). Very little sheetmetal needed replacement. The entire unibody was media blasted, dipped, straightened and repaired as necessary. Then treated to a massive amount of overkill as tghe entire completed unibody was then treated to a full body emersement EDP bath.
Major restoration, assembly and modification work was performed under the direction of Stan Younts of Stan's Restorations in Lexington NC, one of the Nation's premier Camaro restoration specialists. The good folks at Detroit Speed and Engineering (DSE) took our baby for several months, changing out a first attempt subframe for their incredible Hydro-formed subframe with frame connectors and not only installed nearly their full line of supreior products but specified and accomplished all the body and hood sheetmetal work needed to shoehorn the awesome 502 into the tight and low Camaro engine bay.
